Industrial HVLS fans are common ventilation equipment in industrial production, playing an important role in providing comfortable working environments, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing air circulation. To ensure long-term stable operation and extend service life, routine maintenance is crucial.
I. Daily Inspection (Weekly)
- Listen: For abnormal noises, periodic friction sounds during operation;
- Look: For deformed, cracked, or dusty fan blades; check if anti-fall steel cables are loose;
- Record: Operating current and noise changes for comparison with abnormalities.
II. Quarterly Maintenance
After power-off, check torque of fasteners (flange bolts, blade bolts, anti-fall pins); clean dust from fan blades and guards; check gearbox oil level and leakage; test temperature of inverter and control terminal blocks.
III. Annual Major Maintenance
Performed by manufacturer's professional team: motor insulation testing, bearing condition detection, dynamic balance calibration, comprehensive inspection of safety components (steel cables, fall arresters) with report. Guangding provides 1-2 free inspections annually for clients.
IV. Precautions
Strictly prohibit any maintenance during fan operation; before rainy season, inspect roof leakage impact on the motor; for long-term shutdown, power off and run at low speed for 10 minutes monthly to maintain lubrication.
