At 10:58 a.m. on June 10, 2026, the normalizing-pickling line of Jiangsu Zhongsheng Electromagnetic Technology, a YIMA Holdings Group company, was successfully ignited. Built by 150 construction staff over 305 days, the line now runs smoothly, marking a key breakthrough in upgrading the silicon-steel production chain and a solid equipment foundation for quality, efficiency and capacity growth.
Normalizing and pickling is the core upstream process for silicon steel and precision cold-rolled coils, directly determining surface quality, material performance and finished-product precision. Equipped with an automated intelligent control system, the new line optimizes the entire pickling and normalizing flow, solving the high energy use and limited precision of traditional processes, and greatly improving surface cleanliness and material uniformity to meet premium electromagnetic material standards.
Throughout the project, production and technical teams worked in close coordination. Engineers repeatedly refined commissioning plans and process parameters, while production and maintenance staff completed equipment inspection, pipeline testing and linked debugging under strict safety and quality control, resolving technical issues efficiently to reach ignition conditions.
The successful ignition closes the process gap and completes the full production chain from raw material processing, pickling and normalizing to finish rolling, boosting the mass-production capability and competitiveness of high-end electromagnetic new materials.
